Olli-Pekka Suhonen (Eng.) has started as the Head of the Design and Engineering Department at Recion Oy on April 8, 2024. In his role, he reports to Mika Streng, who leads Recion Oy’s project business. Olli-Pekka will serve as a supervisor for Recion’s design staff.

Olli-Pekka has over 15 years of experience in mechanical design, specializing in pipeline and plant design for the pulp and paper industry, power plants, energy industry, and process industry. Throughout his career, he has worked at companies such as Beneq Oy, Afry Finland Oy, Andrinz Oy, Sterin Europe Inc, and Saimatec Engineering Oy. He possesses extensive knowledge of design systems used in pipeline design, including PDMS, AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, Navisworks, and familiarity with standards relevant to Recion, such as EN12952, EN 13480, and ASME.

In recent years, he has been working with semiconductors at Beneq Oy, where he held roles in product development and design. We warmly welcome Olli-Pekka to the growing Recion team and wish him success in his new position.
