Recion’s origins date all the way back to 1879 with the founding of Huber, later acquired by YIT Group in 1995. In 2013, the operations were split into construction and industrial services, forming Caverion. The industrial services division was acquired by Mimir Invest and launched as an independent company in 2019 – Recion.
Building on generations of engineering excellence, Recion today delivers advanced project execution and prefabrication of piping systems. Expanding under its own brand across Scandinavia, Recion is meeting the growing demand for qualified partners in challenging industrial environments. The company’s proven performance in complex projects reflects a broad market need for expertise that supports the green transition within energy, process, manufacturing, and bioeconomy sectors.
Headquartered in Helsinki with production facilities in Ylivieska, Recion employs around 200 specialists and is a market leader in high- and low-pressure solutions and process piping systems. The company has contributed to nearly every major Nordic facility requiring advanced pipe engineering in recent decades.
